First off, I will start off by saying that G-Sharp is definitely worth a listen. 2nd, G-Sharp is versatile in his subject matter from what I've had the pleasure of hearing. In his first review with us, we look at the poignant track called "I Remember When."
"I Remember When" is his tale of rags to riches. Reflecting on his days of being broke and how he turned it around by obtaining a hustler's mentality, and gained a Gangsta's ambition, claiming that those who used to laugh at him are now the same ones who are mad at him for reaching success where they could not by going through trials and tribulations, working through his demons.
I personally rate this track as a 4 out of 5 stars. It's great to hear motivational tracks like this, and to learn of how people take a life-long struggle and turn it into something positive, and the track acts as good reinforcement that we learn from our experiences. He displays true Hip-Hop on this track. He has a good flow and has great lyrical content. G-Sharp has the recipe for success and I look forward to hearing more from him.
