Our Story
Tim Johnson is an ambitious entreprenuer, and Brian Prato is his business partner/Music Artist who has transitioned more towards the business side. It all started when Tim Johnson wanted to support Brian Prato's (FKA Poetic-B) music career. Brian Prato was making music in a group called Night'N'Day. Tim Johnson had entered them in a competition at the 8x10 in Baltimore, Maryland where Night'N'Day placed 4th in the competition.
That night, Tim Johnson had told Brian Prato about an idea he had for a promotion company as a child called Excitement South Promotions, and suggested that the business idea get's off the ground.
With it being that the company is more than a Promotions company, and it being a label, it was later changed to Excitement South Entertainment. The mission was as it is now more than ever to put great music and talent on the radio airwaves with more emphasis on hard work and dedication to the talent we sign and the listeners.
Night'N'Day has split up since, but Tim Johnson and Brian Prato continue their journey to make Excitement South Entertainment the best Entertainment Label possible.
